Congratulations to Beverly Bradshaw, Interior Designer, for her wonderful design concepts and selections!
Great interviews by KXL's Brian Bushlach, Business Briefing, featuring: Karl Lindor, from team John Kritsonis & Karl Lindor of Windermere Real Estate/East, Inc, reviewing current housing marketing conditions: fantastic low interest rates, low inventory, and still high demand.
Coupled with a 2nd part interview with of Troy Chambers, RPM Mortgage featuring advanced approval loans with underwriting confirmed, to compete with all cash offers.
Sooner rather than later is still the message for when to buy your home in King County.

Check out this informative and thoughtful Houzz webinar from Boral Roofing contributors, regarding post recession color and architectural design trends. We find the sociological and economic ramifications from the past 10 years, plausible for the popularity of gray and clean design aesthetic. Who's excited about "trans-modern" exteriors?

Our goal is to 'Be Remarkable' on every project we undertake and create clients for life! Similarly, we want our staff to work for a remarkable company where they can invest their skills and grow their career for life. Rainier Custom Homes has an open position for Project Manager. Applicants should email resumes to: email@example.com. A Project Manager job description can be found on the careers page of this website.
This kitchen island is one of the largest that we've ever built! And one of the neatest features is found in Interior Designer, Gail Monica Dent's design and clever use of the waterfall quartz surface treatment, seamlessly followed by rich brown lower cabinetry which open with merely a touch, ensuring both an architecturally interesting and clutter free line of sight straight to the elevated eating bar terminus. Other island features include: wine storage, food preparation areas, and ample storage. Another project element that we particularly like, is the baking center which can be neatly concealed behind retractable upper doors. The final detail to call-out today, is the incredible craftsmanship of our tile setter. The 3-d backsplash was mitered on the end run with such a careful hand by Vasil, from Greater Seattle Floors, it belies the amazing finish work!
Photographer, John Wilbanks, deftly captured this solution forward remodel. Take a look in our portfolio, in the days to come, for more details around this amazing project!
Recently, we took a break from our regular work schedules and shared a meal together along with some bowling! As our team grows, this was the first time a few of us had met new team members face-to-face. And, though it had been years since most of us had last tried to knock pins down--comically, it became clear, who among us have real talent and skill with the sport. We heard a quick confession of a college bowling class once upon a time, after Jason's first strike! That said, our sporting RCH team spirit and camaraderie included sharing nicknames new and old: Schmeeks, Apple Pie, Jiggy and one perfect orange bowling ball!
We look forward to meeting with you in the weeks and months to come!
Here (see above) are a few key words that RCH client's use to describe us, our relationship and project performance. We are grateful for the kindness of our clients and their trust & partnership!

"It was a series of happy coincidences that brought us together with RCH and I am grateful." homeowner, Lynn K.
"You were thoroughly professional, but also friendly and caring. Your eye for detail and your expectation that things would be done right took so much off my plate and made it so I could trust you to see things through. You thought of things that never occurred to us, and then provided the solution on how to make it happen." At RCH, we strive for each and every project to reach this happy outcome!
In addition to attending the daily work within each of our roles here at RCH, our team also gathers regularly, to share updates and plans. In part, we participate in encouraging team building exercises, which often allow us a pause from our regular perspectives, to consider new ideas. Throughout this business quarter, we're reviewing The One Thing, by Gary Kellar. Essentially, learning the principle about how to "dismiss distractions and concentrate on your ONE Thing (which) stands between you and your goals. The ONE Thing is about getting extraordinary results in every situation." And, learning to apply the principle to any business or personal topics.
Let the brainstorming begin! The group-think allowed leadership to cast vision while aligning the team. And, with a few prompts on a specific business focus, RCH team members contributed terrific ideas and solutions. Remarkable!
We want to give a shout out to Andrey's Stucco & Masonry for their terrific stucco installation at our Innis Arden project! RCH Project Manager, Adin Houck describes this house as "A Mediterranean with a contemporary twist." Clean lines and controlled ornamentation will set the tone of this fantastic dwelling, which is perched on a ridge in Shoreline, overlooking the Puget Sound.
Stucco is both an attractive and durable exterior siding material that is relatively low-maintenance. The Pacific Northwest is notoriously soggy. Keeping this in mind, protecting the building envelope from moisture is essential. Stucco is a great solution for homes in our region. Think this product is limited to Spanish and Mediterranean aesthetics? Think again, stucco is used on many other prominent architectural styles: Mission, Craftsman, French, Italianate, Tuscan, Modern, Art Deco, Renaissance, Revival, Southwest Styles and Tudor. This popular concrete finish can even have color integrated into the mix prior to installation, resulting in a colored stucco that does not require painting, the color sets during the curing process.
We are excited to share more updates with you, as this project continues to shape up. Check back on the blog in the coming months.
