This kitchen island is one of the largest that we’ve ever built! And one of the neatest features is found in Interior Designer, Gail Monica Dent’s design and clever use of the waterfall quartz surface treatment, seamlessly followed by rich brown lower cabinetry which open with merely a touch, ensuring both an architecturally interesting and clutter free line of sight straight to the elevated eating bar terminus. Other island features include: wine storage, food preparation areas, and ample storage. Another project element that we particularly like, is the baking center which can be neatly concealed behind retractable upper doors. The final detail to call-out today, is the incredible craftsmanship of our tile setter. The 3-d backsplash was mitered on the end run with such a careful hand by Vasil, from Greater Seattle Floors, it belies the amazing finish work!

Photographer, John Wilbanks, deftly captured this solution forward remodel. Take a look in our portfolio, in the days to come, for more details around this amazing project!
